It started with what was meant to be a simple clean-up. We lent out our caravan and it came back after being parked under a mango tree – roof and sides covered in sap, leaves and baked-on grime. A quick wash turned into hours of climbing, stretching and fighting with brushes that bent, leaked or simply couldn’t reach.
By the time we were done, our shoulders were wrecked and the gear was worse. It felt ridiculous that something as basic as washing a tall vehicle had turned into a balancing act. That day made one thing very clear: the problem wasn’t the caravan. The problem was the tools.
Easy Clean Gear was born in our driveway. We decided if the right brush didn’t exist, we’d build it – starting with prototypes, we quickly realised that the handle needed a locking pivot to be able to get enough downward pressure on the wash head without stretching and straining.
